COVID has taken a lot from everyone this year…. but NOT our giving spirit! Childhood illness is hard at any time, but having a sick child in 2020 has had to be the very worst!!

We could not host our annual Hearts for Hadley Fun Golf & Games this year. But, because of previous generous donations we have been able to continue our mission of serving cancer families at East TN Children’s Hospital by sending meals during their first week of diagnosis.

FIVE YEARS AGO our sweet girl was diagnosed with leukemia. We were held up by a community of friends, family and even strangers praying for her recovery.

I will forever be grateful for all of you that got us through it. 🙏🏼

Hearts for Hadley Golf and Games fundraiser November 3 at Beverly Park par 3 golf course.

This is a family-friendly, fun-filled afternoon for all. Everyone is welcome, whether you play or just come hang out with us.

Feeding Families

Our organization continues to feed families at East Tennessee Children’s Hospital.

The hospital averages 4 new diagnoses per month. So based on that, we have fed approximately 192 families (over the fours years since we began). Some families have received just one meal, while others are fed over several days, depending on the circumstances, needs, etc.

We could not do this without donors, like you. If you would like to get involved, please reach out to us. If you would like to donate, use the PayPal tab on the home page or message us using the Contact Us tab for our address.

Doing really well

Hadley is officially two years post treatment and doing really well. The doctors are very happy with her progress, so much so that she is now on a four month re-check schedule.


Her summer was filled with trips, playdates, the lake, and trips to the used bookstore (she and Jonah are thrilled to know they can get credit for selling their books to get new books!)


And, she is finally letting me braid ALL THAT HAIR!!!! It’s hard to believe that three years ago her little head was bald!
